(Washington, DC) The Office of the State Superintendent of Education, on behalf of the Executive Office of the Mayor, is soliciting grant applications from qualified applicants for the following grants:
Co-Location Grant
District of Columbia public charter schools and/or non-profits may apply for this grant for the following: 1) to improve District of Columbia Public School (“DCPS”) facilities which provide space to District of Columbia Public Charter Schools (“PCSs”); and/or 2) to develop innovative programs for DCPS and PCS programs which share, or will share a DCPS facility.
College Access Grant
Public Charter Schools and Nonprofit organizations interested in establishing a college access program which will aid public charter schools within the District of Columbia, including but not limited to, promoting college awareness and college preparation may apply for this grant. Grant applications are due August 29, 2007.
